Studio Sohn, formerly named, Lashing Beauty, was founded June of 2015 by Sarah Sohn. Sarah is a licensed esthetician, lash artist, permanent makeup-artist, visionary & educator of Studio Sohn in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. Her interest in the beauty industry started off as a lash client first and she later built her brand around relatability.  Every service on the Studio Sohn menu is something she believes is worth the while and has experienced each herself.

One size/style does not fit all and with Sarah’s free-styling technique, she strives to get exactly what you want or close to it with out jeopardizing the health of your lashes in order to have longevity in your lash wear. She specializes in wispy, realistic lash styling as well as natural feathery brow styling. Another styling specialty of hers is styling asian eyes as she is Korean herself, she struggled to find a lash artist that was suitable to her own eyes, and thats where the trait of reliability comes perfectly into play. The motive is to make your eyes noticeably beautiful, and have people ask “are those real?” Her signature extension look is to make them look as if they are your own no matter how short or glam we go.

Carefully picking the best and high quality products available in the industry, services provided are executed with comfort and achieve beautifully, noticeable results. The glue used for lash extensions is oil-proof and water-proof, medical grade, purified, and formaldehyde free.

Sarah is a multi-certified artist with over 12 certificates (and counting) as she believes education and being knowledgeable are key to becoming a successful artist. She was the first to bring the keratin lash lift to Ventura county, and first 3 to be trained in the state of California with Yumilashes becoming one of the first few certified Yumilash artist. Sarah is also a certified Advance Novalash Artist in both American and London Volume. With a keen eye for new trends, Sarah aims to deliver the very best to the area, being a pioneer in the industry.
